You love luxury, beautiful holiday homes, and nature. You notice that dogs are often not welcome in the houses. This appeals to you. At Eco Bosvilla Wateren, you and your dog(s) are very welcome. We have a dog ourselves: Cooper, a Golden Retriever. And he loves it in Drenthe! All that space.
Eco Bosvilla Wateren features a 2,400 m² forest garden. There are no fences at the back — the garden simply flows into the Drents-Friese Wold, one of the largest contiguous nature reserves in the Netherlands. There is, however, a 25-meter, 90 cm high sheep netting that fits around the terrace. From the front door, you are in the forest within a few minutes. Off-leash areas and a wading pond are nearby; we will provide you with all the tips. Up to 3 dogs welcome. No extra charge.
Holiday or weekend away with the dog
Whether you come for a weekend, a midweek break, or longer, the Drents-Friese Wold is special in all seasons. The house adapts to your party, and for the dog(s) we have a gate that you can place in front of the stairs and a handy sheep net that you can put around the terrace in a few minutes. This way, you and the dog can easily go from inside to outside but not out of the garden, and you can still enjoy the unobstructed view of the nature reserve.

At the national park
A garden of twenty-four hundred square meters already sounds big. And what makes it extra special is what lies behind it: the Drents-Friese Wold, the second largest contiguous nature reserve in the Netherlands. You can walk and cycle straight into nature from the garden.
Can you picture it? Drinking coffee in the morning with a view of the birds and squirrels, and a chance of spotting a deer in the garden or the field across the road. Heading out into nature during the day to recharge your batteries. Afterwards, relaxing in the sauna, on the lounge sofas, or on the huddle net. Having drinks together, cooking, playing games, and roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. And in the evening, before going to sleep, stepping outside for a moment to stargaze, with the sound of the wind through the trees. You don't need anything more.

"We had a fantastic week at the Eco Bosvilla in Wateren. New, fresh, cozy, and more than 'fully equipped': spacious bedrooms (1 on the ground floor) and a luxury bathroom for every bedroom. A well-equipped kitchen, conveniently situated next to the large dining table, and outside, the beautiful BBQ. And a sauna :-). All this on a very spacious plot in the middle of nature: we saw deer and squirrels and woke up to the sound of many different birds. For the children, there is a swing and plenty of room to build a treehouse. Sheep netting is available to keep your dog close by. A great base for discovering the varied nature of the Drents-Friese Wold, for example, together with family and your dog (as we did). We would love to come back; highly recommended for everyone."

What a beautiful house and what stunning surroundings! Our family, including adult children, thoroughly enjoyed this luxury eco-house with a sauna. Absolutely everything had been thought of! Lovely details too, like the hanging nets (even a play net inside the house :) and the swing. We enjoyed lovely walks with our dog and headed out on e-choppers to explore the area. There is so much to see and discover. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and greenery in a luxury eco-house.

Beautiful house fully equipped! Plenty of space, well furnished, comfortable beds and bathrooms, and a lovely kitchen. The sauna was also a real treat.
View, yet right in the middle of the trees. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with 3 dogs. Various walking routes. We would love to come back!
