Our Eco favourites
In addition to the construction, the environment and the footprint we leave behind have also been taken into account in the design of the house and garden.
Riley Dining Chair | Toko Living

The Riley dining chair by Toko Living is incredibly comfortable! Furthermore, the base of the armchair is made of 100% recycled plastic and fiberglass, making this armchair particularly eco-friendly and strong. Toko Living is based in Bussum and took care of the interior design of the house based on tranquility, unity, and balance. It turned out very well!
100% recycled | Dille & Kamille

Large towels made of 100% recycled cotton from Dille & Kamille. Extensive research went into them, as this is quite difficult, and they turned out great. Dille & Kamille is a Dutch organization and a source of inspiration for a more conscious life, in harmony with each other and nature.
Hair & Bodycare Marie Stella Maris

Marie Stella Maris is a Dutch company with an eco mission. The luxury body care products are made with ingredients of natural origin and all bottles are refillable with refill packs: less waste, less CO2 emissions from production.
Crisp sheet duvet covers

Crisp Sheets is also a great example of a Dutch brand founded on an ideology. We spend a quarter of our lives in bed, so why not give it just a little extra attention: wonderful texture, no need to iron, and responsibly produced and partly organic in Turkey.
Marcel's hand soap and cleaning products

You can already tell that we are fans of Dutch companies. We use the hand soap and cleaning products from Marcel's , all refillable. So less waste, transport, and the use of natural ingredients.
The house is made of wood: CLT to be precise.

In addition to being extremely strong and highly suitable for high-rise buildings, CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) also has a positive influence on the indoor climate and energy consumption due to its natural moisture-regulating and insulating properties. Sustainability is one of the key arguments for the use of CLT. Cross-laminated timber comes from sustainably managed forests, stores CO2, and can be effectively reused.
