Parking spaces, a charger, a spacious kitchen, and a dining table. Plenty to do in the area without hours of preparation. At Eco Bosvilla Wateren, we are happy to take your challenge off your hands.
What can you expect
Three bedrooms with single beds, each with its own bathroom. This way, everyone can get up at their own pace. Head out into nature during the day, followed by time for the sauna, games, drinks at the table, bar, or on the large terrace, and the avid BBQ enthusiast can fire up the Kamado. With the forest and the sounds of birds in the background and a glass of wine or mocktail in hand, there is time to catch up, laugh, and also have a more serious conversation. All the ingredients are present for a wonderful weekend with friends.

What can you expect
Two to four hundred square meters sounds big. And it is. But what makes it special is what lies behind it: the Drents-Friese Wold, the second-largest contiguous nature reserve in the Netherlands. The garden has no fences at the back. The garden flows straight into nature.
That means you can drink coffee on the terrace in your dressing gown in the morning while a deer walks across the field on the other side. That you see greenery from every window and hear birdsong. That you can take a half-hour walk through the national park after dinner and then be back home. The terrace faces west. Evening sun, a Kamado BBQ slowly coming up to temperature, and the sound of the wind through the trees. You don't need anything more.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa in Wateren. The location is perfect – quiet, surrounded by nature, and right next to a beautiful national park, making it ideal for relaxing walks. The house itself was cozy, well-equipped, and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our time here and would love to come back again!

We had a super relaxing time in this beautiful house overlooking a meadow with grazing cows. The peaceful surroundings on the edge of the forest invite you to linger and take a walk. In the immediate vicinity, you can always find a small spot or places for activities. The house is super spacious and offers plenty of room; even in the large garden, you can make yourself comfortable or lie in the hammock in the sun and watch the birds.
Our highlight besides the sauna was the shower with a view of the forest.

We stayed 4 nights at Eco Bosvilla and really wished we had stayed longer. The house was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed and much more. We were a group of 6 adults, so the three bedrooms were perfect with 3 bathrooms.
The beds and seating area were very comfortable and cozy. The fly screens built into the windows were brilliant for the warm nights – there is also air conditioning, but we didn't want to have it on all night.
The outdoor area was lovely with plenty of furniture, a BBQ with a pizza stone, a swing, two hammocks, and of course, the sauna with infrared heat!!! This was such a treat in the evenings after our long walks. The area is beautiful with hiking trails right on the doorstep and many small towns within a 10-15 minute drive with all amenities.
Karlien was our host and responded very quickly; she even sent information about the house and the area one month before our trip so that we could plan our adventures.
